2010 Pow Wow - Welcome Letter
Dear International Pow Wow Attendee,
Orlando, Florida is one of the most well known and exciting destinations on Earth. Great restaurants, shopping, world class entertainment, all contribute to the lure of this international destination. As we gear up for the U.S. Travel Association’s 42nd Anniversary of International Pow Wow in Orlando, we reflect back on the success of Miami in 2009. We look forward with great excitement of U.S. Travel continuing to take the industry forward in this time of globalization through International Pow Wow.
In 2009, over 70,000 business appointments were conducted resulting in over $3.8 billion of business in Miami. Journalists conducted dozens of desk-side meetings with top destinations and attractions during the Media Marketplace, thus producing hundreds of features on travel trends and destination news. From the Sunshine State to the Golden State with everything in-between, International Pow Wow represents the best of the U.S. travel and tourism industry. To grow your business, this is the place to be, May 15 – May 19, 2010.
Spend this time with your colleagues, friends and business partners at what is certain to be one of U.S. Travel’s most successful and profitable International Pow Wows for all International Buyers and U.S. Suppliers alike.
In only five days we are delivering what you need, face-to-face meetings by appointment between buyers and suppliers - with whom you currently do business and with those you would like to do business in the future. This will provide the opportunity to have up to 44 pre-scheduled appointments, as well as many additional networking opportunities.
You will also have the chance to experience exciting entertainment, without which International Pow Wow would not be complete. You will not want to miss the sightseeing tours (provided by Orlando), luncheons, thrilling evening events and so much more.
Your presence is imperative to the future success of our industry. Come join us in Orlando for International Pow Wow 2010 and I guarantee you will be glad you did!
