International Pow Wow
Appointment Options
Business appointments at International Pow Wow are pre-scheduled in advance based on International and Domestic Buyer and Exhibitor requests according to a priority matching system. All requests are submitted via powwowonline.com. Once the Online Appointment Request period closes, computer-generated appointment lists are distributed to attendees, at which point the Manual Scheduling feature will be available to request additional appointments.
Exhibitors can pre-schedule up to 44 appointments per booth (not per delegate). Please note that companies participating in a Booth Share do not receive individual appointment schedules; the booth as a whole is eligible for up to 44 appointments and it is up to the key contact of the booth-holding company to assign the scheduled appointments to individuals within the booth once the appointement scheduling process has been completed.
In addition, the following options allow exhibitors to purchase additional appointments, group appointments with nearby booths, and to opt out of appointments with certain buyer and non-buyer types.
Extra Appointments Option
Note: Once Manual Scheduling is active, the Extra Appointment option is no longer available for purchase.
The Extra Appointments Option is designed for exhibiting organizations who do not feel that the standard 44 appointment time slots per booth are sufficient in meeting the demand from buyers appointment requests.
If you purchase the Extra Appointments Option, you will have the opportunity to request an additional 20 buyers for a possible total of 64 appointments per booth space!
Reminder: Exhibitor appointments are scheduled with the booth-holding company, not with any particular individual registered under that booth. If you purchase the Extra Appointments Option, the additional appointments are managed by the Key Contact. They are not assigned to another registered delegate in the Booth.
If your organization has received fully booked schedules in the past and is able to handle additional pre-scheduled appointments, the Extra Appointments Option may be useful for you.
Mutual appointment requests still have the highest priority in the scheduling process and your requests are not guaranteed, but by allowing you to make additional requests, you are improving your chances of getting more appointments. Please be staffed to handle additional appointments.
Note: We do not recommend this option for first time exhibitors or exhibitors who have not had full schedules in the past, unless you are confident you will have high demand for appointments from the buyers.

The fee is non-refundable after the computerized appointment scheduling process has taken place.
Multiple Booth Scheduling Option
Free Option! This option was developed to make scheduling appointments more efficient for U.S. Suppliers with multiple adjacent booths that combine their appointment schedules. Each organization will be linked together so that buyers are only scheduled once in this Group.
To take advantage of this, add the Multiple Booth Scheduling Option to your shopping cart when you register online. You must also complete the Multiple Booth Scheduling Option Form.
By completing and submitting this form to U.S. Travel Association, you are agreeing that the organizations you list are to be considered part of a 'Scheduling Group' during the appointment scheduling process. Each organization included in your list must also submit the form as confirmation of their agreement to be included.
This option needs to be selected by March 6, 2012.
Domestic Buyer Appointment Option - Opt Out
Free Option! U.S. Suppliers will have the opportunity to meet with qualified Domestic Wholesale Buyers, Online Travel organizations and buyer representatives from exhibiting Receptive Tour Operators in formal, pre-scheduled appointments.
Exhibitors who prefer not to meet with Domestic Buyers should be sure to add the Domestic Buyer Appointment Option - Opt Out item to the shopping cart when registering online.
Meetings & Incentive Buyer Appointment Option - Opt Out
Free Option! U.S. Suppliers will have the opportunity to meet with qualified Meeting & Incentive Buyers in formal, pre-scheduled appointments.
Exhibitors who prefer not to meet with Meeting & Incentive Buyers should be sure to add the Meeting & Incentive Appointment Option - Opt Out item to the shopping cart when registering online.
Press Appointment Option - Opt Out
Free Option! We anticipate that more than 250 International Journalists from 40 countries will attend International Pow Wow this year, and your organization has an opportunity to schedule appointments with them during the official Business Appointment Sessions that take place on the show floor (not during the Media Marketplace, which has no scheduled appointments, and which requires the additional purchase of the Media Package).

Visit USA Committee Appointment Option - Opt Out
