Travel Industry Advocates

The Power of Travel Coalition establishes travel’s value to the U.S. economy and the more than 10 million American workers whose livelihoods depend on a vibrant travel industry. Washington, local politicians and the media will hear directly from the men and women who make this industry unique that travel is essential to jobs in their communities, as well as the nation’s economy.

The Coalition’s objective is to build a grassroots army of one million travel industry advocates to:

• Tell the story of why travel matters to employees, vendors, policymakers, and communities.
• Increase travel to and within the United States by removing barriers to travel and preventing harmful legislation.
• Demonstrate the power of travel by highlighting voices of the travel community in local and national media.
