U.S. Travel Rally Day
May 11 - May 11, 2010
Nationwide
Champion the Power of Travel on Rally Day
U.S. Travel Rally Day is a concerted effort to demonstrate travel's impact on local workers, businesses and economies. Individual events are staged in cities nationwide during National Travel and Tourism Week.
The goal of Rally Day is to unite a community's travel workers and supporters and publicly represent the industry to media, elected officials and residents with a message that travel matters to this nation and to the local community.
The first U.S. Travel Rally Day was staged in May 2009. More than 40 destinations across the United States staged events to champion the benefits of travel. (Click here to view participating cities in 2009.)
