TravelNewsLink

What is TravelNewsLink?

TravelNewsLink is a free U.S. Travel Association service designed to connect members of the media with public relations professionals in the travel industry. TravelNewsLink is the only e-mail based system that links journalists with more than 2,000 U.S.-based travel industry organizations.

How does it work?

Media submit their queries to Cathy Keefe. Please include name, publication, and e-mail address. Describe the kind of information you are looking for in 75 words or less and be as specific as possible. Include your deadline and how you would prefer to be contacted (phone, fax, e-mail). All queries must be about U.S. travel and tourism. TravelNewsLink is available to any working journalist or author anywhere in the world.

PR professionals for U.S. travel organizations or destinations can sign up to be a part of the TravelNewsLink network and to receive media queries by clicking here.

Why do media love TravelNewsLink?

TravelNewsLink is fast. All requests go out as soon as possible (Monday-Friday). Responses start coming to the reporter within hours and only from PR contacts that have the information needed by the journalist.

TravelNewsLink saves time. One e-mail accomplishes as much work as dozens of phone calls. It’s pressure-free. Reporters only need to respond to public relations professionals who have the information they need.

TravelNewsLink is a more effective way to communicate. The reporter determines how they want to receive the information (phone, e-mail, fax).

TravelNewsLink is thorough. It connects journalists with the PR contacts for convention and visitors bureaus, state tourism offices, travel attractions, major U.S. travel companies, travel associations and more. The service only includes spokesperson for USA travel organizations.
