U.S. Travel Association has launched GREAT USA Coalition—a united alliance of sports, travel and business leaders dedicated to ensuring the United States delivers world‑class experiences as host of a historic wave of global sporting events including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2028 Summer Olympics.

These events are expected to draw 30+ million international visitors and generate $100 billion in economic impact over the next four years, placing unprecedented demands on U.S. travel systems. GREAT USA Coalition is working hand‑in‑hand with federal, state and local leaders to:

  • Modernize visa and entry systems
  • Upgrade airports and deploy next‑generation security
  • Ensure safe, seamless travel for athletes, fans and media

Building on strong federal commitments—including $625 million for 2026 World Cup operations and $1 billion for 2028 Olympic Games infrastructure—GREAT USA Coalition’s mission is to transform this once‑in‑a‑generation moment into a legacy of improved infrastructure, stronger competitiveness and unmatched hospitality for visitors from across the country and around the world.
