Adam Vance is executive vice president of operations for the U.S. Travel Association. Along with managing U.S Travel’s strategic planning process, Vance oversees U.S. Travel’s finance, legal, technology and human resources departments.

During his tenure at U.S. Travel, Vance led the development of, the first official travel and tourism website of the United States. The website was developed under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce and was gifted to Brand USA in 2011.

Before joining U.S. Travel, Vance worked for Marriott International in both corporate finance and sales and marketing, where he managed customer acquisition and led the international development of Marriott’s loyalty program. He also developed and managed Marriott’s loyalty program website, email marketing program and member communications. Prior, Vance provided marketing and analytical support to Marriott’s vacation ownership division and served as controller for the marketing department.

Vance began his professional career with Deloitte, where he earned his CPA certificate. He graduated from James Madison University with honors.
