Olivia Hilton is the director of Research Data Management for the U.S. Travel Association, where she oversees the organization and execution of the association’s research data processes and planning strategies. Her role includes the overall management of ITA (Interactive Travel Analytics), the association’s web based interactive statistical visualization tool designed to assist travel professionals to make better-informed decisions.

Additionally, Hilton is responsible for assisting the association in all aspects of research survey needs.

Before joining U.S. Travel, Hilton worked for the Vision Council as Research Manager where she started the association’s research initiatives to expand the wealth of knowledge available to the optical industry’s stakeholders. She then moved on to work for the America’s Health Insurance Plans as Senior Research Associate where she undertook analytical research projects designed to help the Medical Affairs department respond to proposed legislations, regulations and initiatives.

Prior to her career at trade associations, Hilton worked for the Coca-Cola Company in her native country, the Philippines, for over 10 years as Senior National Sales Analyst. In this position she provided in-depth analysis of sales trends to assist with marketing strategies. Coca-Cola had a market share of 75% when she left the company for the United States.

Hilton obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of the Philippines. She also received a Graduate Certificate Program on Survey Design and Data Analysis from the George Washington University.
