WASHINGTON -

Registration has opened for the second annual Future of Travel Mobility conference, a day-long event on Tuesday, September 20, convening global business leaders in travel, transportation and technology, government officials, and policymakers and policy influencers, together with the media.

Held at Union Station in Washington, DC, the event will explore issues central to the coming decade of travel mobility and the traveler experience, including sustainability, seamless and secure travel and innovative and emerging travel. Through in-depth, thought-provoking dialogue, speakers will address the vital intersection of business innovation and public policy with the goal of accelerating action on critical mobility initiatives that strengthen core American industries.

Several confirmed keynote speakers, among others, include:

  • William J. Hornbuckle, Chief Executive Officer and President, MGM Resorts International
  • Robert Isom, Chief Executive Officer, American Airlines
  • Chrissy Taylor, President and Chief Executive Officer, Enterprise Holdings

The event is intended to drive conversations and policy outcomes that will expeditiously advance U.S. Travel’s goal of building more modernized travel infrastructure systems and increasing the industry’s global competitiveness beyond the pandemic.

“As we emerge from the pandemic and rebuild the U.S. travel industry, we must make every effort to work across sectors to realize a future of travel mobility that contemplates travelers’ needs while also protecting the planet,” said U.S. Travel Association Executive Vice President of Public Affairs and Policy Tori Emerson Barnes. “It is imperative that we continue to urge the government to more quickly enable policies that make the travel industry even more globally competitive.

“U.S. Travel is proud to once again convene business and policy leaders to discuss these issues that are so critical to the future of our industry and our country.”
