These Reproduction Rights Supplemental Terms (“Reproduction Supplemental Terms”) are incorporated into and form a part of the U.S. Travel Association (“U.S. Travel”) Terms of Use.

All research papers and other publications available or offered on the Sites, including data or information contained therein (collectively, the "Research and/or Publications"), are the exclusive property of U.S. Travel and are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. All users or purchasers, as applicable, of any of the Research and/or Publications in whole or in part, agree to the following:

  • The downloading, reproduction, distribution, republication, public display, public performance, uploading, transmission (or retransmission) of, or creation of derivative works from (collectively, “Use”), the Research and/or Publications is strictly prohibited except with the prior written consent of U.S. Travel. All rights not expressly granted by U.S. Travel are reserved by U.S. Travel.
  • A purchaser of the Research and/or Publications is permitted to download a single copy of the purchased material. The purchased material may be used privately by the purchaser or within the purchaser's own organization  solely for non-commercial, internal business purposes. The Research and/or Publications may not be distributed to or Used by any other individual, organization, or to any third party, in any medium, without the  prior written consent of U.S. Travel.
  • U.S. TRAVEL MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS AND DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE RESEARCH AND/OR PUBLICATIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF OWNERSHIP, TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE RESEARCH AND/OR PUBLICATIONS ARE PROVIDED “AS-IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”.  YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF OR REFERENCE TO THE RESEARCH AND/OR PUBLICATIONS IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
  • All permitted Uses of U.S. Travel Research and/or Publications (including statistics or findings from any U.S. Travel Research and/or Publications) must include on all copies, in such a manner and location as will give reasonable notice of U.S. Travel’s claim of copyright in the Research and/or Publications, the following notice:© [year of creation] U.S. Travel. To request written permission to use U.S. Travel Research and/or Publications, please email your request to research@ustravel.org with the following information.

  • Provide a full description of the work you wish to Use:
  • Title of the work.
  • An exact description of the content you wish to include.
  • Provide a full description of how you intend to use the work:
  • If you intend to seek permission to create a derivative work or change the work in any way,  provide  specific details of the changes, and assurances that the work will not be used in violation of these Reproduction Supplemental Terms or the Terms of Use.
  • Will the work be included in or referenced  within or via other content, and if so what is the overall context, and what proportion of the overall work does the copied content represent.
  • Provide a full description of how and in what medium the work will be Used (i.e. published in book format, released online, etc.).
  • Provide assurances and specifics regarding how the work will be properly attributed to U.S. Travel (as required above).
  • Indicate the number of copies you wish to make.

You agree to promptly provide to U.S. Travel documentation supporting the questions (and your responses) above, together with any other documentation reasonably requested by U.S. Travel  relating to your Use of the Research and/or Publications.  In the event of any violation of these Reproduction Supplemental Terms or the Terms of Use, U.S. Travel may rescind your right to Use the Research and/or Publications, in its sole discretion. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless U.S. Travel and our parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, licensors, co-branders, suppliers, licensors, and other partners, employees, consultants and agents, together with all of their respective officers, directors, employees and consultants, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising from or relating to your Use of the Research and/or Publications. U.S. Travel reserves the right to exclusively defend and control any such indemnification claim and you agree to fully cooperate with U.S. Travel in any such defense.
